Overview

ScanPro is a document scanning app developed by Tushar Lama. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how it's handled.

Data We Collect

Analytics
We collect anonymous usage analytics (screen views, feature usage, scan counts) through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. No document content is ever transmitted.

Crash Reports
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect crash logs and diagnostic information to fix bugs and improve app stability.

Advertising
ScanPro uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

We do not access, read, or upload your scanned documents
We do not collect OCR text results
We do not access your photo library beyond images you explicitly select
We do not sell any personal data to third parties
We do not collect any personal information such as names, emails, or account data

Data Storage

All scanned documents are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. They never leave your device unless you explicitly share or export them.

Camera & Photo Library

ScanPro requests access to your device's camera to scan documents and your photo library to import images. These permissions are used solely for the App's scanning and import features. Images captured or imported are stored locally on your device.

Your Rights

You can:

Delete all your scanned documents from the App's Settings
Revoke camera and photo library permissions via iOS Settings
Reset your advertising identifier via iOS Settings

Children's Privacy

ScanPro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
